John Keells Regional English Days came to a close on the 14th of July 2018.Over 1082 students from five provinces namely, Western, Northern, Southern, Central and Eastern, who completed the John Keells English Language Scholarship Programme gathered in their respective provinces to showcase their talents and learnings. The regional events featured drama performances and poetry recitals by students from various backgrounds performed in front of local audiences comprising parents, teachers and local authorities.
The items performed at each location was adjudged by a panel of 3 independent judges, for the selection of Best Drama, Best Poem and Best Performer. Moreover an award for the Best Teacher was given out in in recognition of the commitment and efforts towards the John Keells English Language Scholarship Programme.
