John Keells organizes Grade 5 and O level seminars for Neighbourhood Schools

In line with our vision of creating a more conducive environment for learning and uplifting the quality of education, seminars were organized for our neighborhood schools.

The seminars were held for students of all 8 of our neighborhood schools- Al Iqbal Muslim Balika Vidyalaya, Holy Rosary Sinhala Vidyalaya, Holy Rosary Tamil Vidyalaya, Siri Sariputta Maha Vidyalaya, T.B. Jayah Maha Vidyalaya, Colombo Central Hindu College, Al Hikma Hindu College and Modara Sri Medhananda Vidyalaya.
Six grade 5 seminars were held in June, July and August. Both events were graced by Director of Zonal of Education, Mr. W. M. J. Wickramanayaka who commended John Keells for their support in improving the education available for disadvantaged government schools.
While four O level seminars were held in October and November. The seminars were aimed at preparing the students for examinations by going through past papers, discussing answers and addressing gaps in their knowledge.	The seminars were conducted in both English and Sinhala Medium.
More than 200 students were in attendance for both O level and Grade 5 Seminars


The seminars were smoothly run- all thanks to the help received from our JKH Volunteers
