John Keells Foundation (JKF) donated Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to strengthen the safety of the front-liners battling the COVID-19 pandemic and to minimize their exposure to the virus.

The equipment were donated to National Institute of Infectious Diseases (IDH), Teaching Hospital at Kotelawala Defense University (KDU), Homagama Base Hospital, Neluwa Base Hospital and Hiniduma Base Hospital with the support of Ceylon Cold Stores (CCS) and Tea Smallholder Factories (TSF). JKF with the support of TSF also donated and distributed PPEs among Public Health Inspectors (PHI) in Neluwa and Hiniduma.

JKF together with other Group companies continues to monitor the situation and plan medium to long-term support initiatives relating to COVID-19.
