The John Keells Foundation, together with Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, commemorated National Coastal and Marine Resource Conservation Week by organizing beach clean-ups in Beruwela, Hikkaduwa, Trincomalee and Yala in collaboration with the Marine Environment Protection Authority with the participation of approximately 200 volunteers.
