The John Keells Group recognizes the importance of being a good neighbour to its surrounding community. As such, since 2003/04, the Foundation has been supporting the development and maintenance of infrastructure and facilities of five disadvantaged Government schools in Colombo 2 (the location of the Head Office and several offices of the John Keells Group), towards creating an environment more conducive for learning. The schools as listed below cater to a mixed student population representing all communities and religions. The project is implemented through the CSR teams of Cinnamon Grand and Trans Asia Hotel.
