Objective:
Refurbishment and maintenance of the Slave Island Railway Station - a historic colonial building and iconic landmark in Colombo 2 - in collaboration with the General Manager, Railways.

Impact:
Since 2002, JKH through its subsidiaries continues to support the renovation and maintenance of the Station with annual repairs and renovations as agreed with the Department of Railways. The work was extended to landscaping and maintenance of the rail reservation including clearing, turfing, backfilling and planting of the area.
It is estimated that over 600,000 commuters have benefitted from renovations.
