Mr. Krishan Balendra, Chairman/CEO of the John Keells Group, launched an interactive e-module on Preventing and Addressing Gender-based Violence and Child Abuse for the use of Group staff on 25th November 2020 as part of a host of activities organized by John Keells Foundation (JKF) to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The e-module, which comprises sub-modules on gender-based violence, sexual harassment at the workplace and child protection, was developed by JKF as part of Project WAVE (Working Against Violence through Education), a long-term initiative to combat gender-based violence and child abuse launched in November 2014.
