“Step Up to Careers”, a one-day workshop inclusive of a career fair catering to (with an open invitation to) both local and private university undergraduates presented by John Keells Foundation, with the objective of enhancing the employability of undergraduates was conducted in partnership with the University Grants Commission and supported by AISEC, Rotaract and Leo student bodies, on 1st June 2019 at the Defence Services College Auditorium and saw the participation of 110 students from both state and public universities.

The day included a panel discussion with industry experts, sessions on entering and succeeding in the workplace, personal grooming and social etiquette, CV writing and interview skills. The career fair gave the opportunity for participants to engage with the HR teams of John Keells Group companies.
