UNIVERSITY SOFT SKILLS PROGRAMME
`The Final Step’ is a series of soft skills workshops designed for the benefit of university undergraduates towards grooming them for employment. The programme includes panel discussions involving leading business men and women from renowned organizations, as well as interactive workshops conducted by qualified trainers on topics such as personality and confidence development, adapting to the corporate environment, personal grooming, corporate hospitality as well as mock interviews, advice on writing CVs and developing a corporate image.
Objective:
Enhance employability of undergraduates by providing them with soft skills workshops and industrial training.

In addition to this, selected students are given the opportunity to experience a working environment through industrial training programmes that are facilitated through mutual agreement with the requesting university and respective companies of the John Keells Group. Since 2014, students from the University of Jaffna as well as Uva Wellassa have taken part in industrial training programme
